Various divisions of Teknikor participated in the RED NOSE DAY campaign to raise awareness and money to help kids in need. By joining the “FUN-raiser”, we are contributing to the Red Nose foundation to help lift kids out of poverty.

Another March of Dimes Success For Team “The Bradey Bunch”

For the fourth year in a row, long-time Teknikor employee Carlos Brum along with his wife Diana and their son Bradey joined the March for Babies as “The Bradey Bunch”, raising over $7,000. In those four years, Team Bradey Bunch has raised over $35,000. We applaud their family’s commitment and dedication to this wonderful cause. They exemplify one of Teknikor’s core values – teamwork.

Bob Orr appointed Design Engineer

Robert (Bob) Orr has taken a design engineering position at Teknikor Automation & Controls. Bob has been a Senior Field Service Engineer for Teknikor since June 2011. Previous to working at Teknikor, he was an Electrical Engineer at the ATI –Allegheny Ludlum facility in New Bedford, MA for 10 years. Bob began working in the industrial controls segment as an Industrial Electrician at Kaiser Aluminum in Portsmouth, RI. Later he became a Service Engineer at Burton Industries and Startup Engineer at Control Techniques in RI prior to being the first Design Engineer at Engineered Controls Systems, Inc . Bob’s other work experience included a position as an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager at Marshall & Williams, with extensive project construction in China; and WALCO Electric as a Custom Systems Design Engineer. Bob has gone full circle to work again with co-workers from previous companies now working together at Teknikor.

D-Tech Acquisition Powers Teknikor into Energy Co-Generation and Reclamation Markets

Fall River, MA – Locally-based Teknikor is purchasing selective assets of D-Tech Electrical, also based in Fall River. D-Tech is a commercial and industrial electrical services company that has built a strong reputation as a leading provider of co-generation and methane extraction systems.

Founded in 1998, D-Tech was one of the first companies in New England to design, install and maintain co-generation plants — enabling future forward organizations such as Wellesley College to achieve operational efficiencies by extracting two fuel streams from a single energy source. The company continues to do business with the college to this day.
