What I like most about working at Teknikor are the people I work with. Everyone works together and helps each other out as a team. The team I work with feels like family to me.  I also love the type of work that I do, it’s challenging and always changing, which means you’re always learning new things.

Working at Teknikor is not like anywhere you’ve worked before. The culture is different; everyone really cares about you as a person, you become a member of the Teknikor family, not just an employee. The employees themselves are proud to work here.  Management is honest and clear in their expectations. In return, they live up to everything they promise you.  If you are fortunate enough to come onboard, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. You won’t be in any hurry to find another place to work. You’ll want to call Teknikor home. The people that come to work here simply don’t leave, that speaks volumes about the type of company Teknikor is.

Working here is great, the atmosphere, the employees and management, are all working toward the same goal. The variety of projects provides lots of opportunities to learn new things.

There are many things I can say about Teknikor but the biggest advantage to working here is that, if you put in the effort, you will be rewarded. I started as an apprentice plumber in 1981.  Over the years Teknikor has given me the opportunity to advance myself, the more I learned, the more I challenged myself, the greater the reward.

Teknikor is a unique work place due to the diversity of the work that we do. There are no two jobs that are the same and almost all jobs are complex and challenging. The people that are here are very skilled and willing to pass on knowledge to those who seek it. Teknikor is ever evolving to keep up with technology. The support group that goes with the company is also very skilled and willing to help any who ask for it. The potential for growth and advancement is there as long as you are willing to put the time and effort in.

Some find it surprising that I have been working here for over 49 years, I don’t, it’s easy to explain.  Teknikor provides stable employment, good benefits and opportunity for growth and advancement. Teknikor is a family company and everyone associated with the company, will go out of their way to help any employee, if they need it.
